Hello,

I am a seasoned UX Researcher and Designer. My years of experience designing products and software have given me an enhanced ability to understand the user’s needs and to deliver highly usable and desirable products. Here are a few key engagements.

Johnson Controls
Working with JCI customers and partners around the world, JCI makes buildings better for occupants and the environment. They focus on creating smart, data-driven products, solutions, and services. And they design systems that optimize control of any facility’s environment using sensors and artificial intelligence to reduce energy consumption and overall operating costs. My efforts focused on the creation of new customer functionality for their facilities management system and mobile tenant comfort products.

American Family Insurance
An industry leader in all forms of personal and business insurance products. Widely known for their community involvement and philanthropy, they make highly usable digital tools for their customers and internal teams. My task at AMFAM was to refine the online automotive insurance purchase and damage evaluation tools for insurance adjusters.

Wolters Kluwer
A global provider of professional information, software solutions and services, work at Wolters Kluwer helps to protect people’s health and prosperity and contribute to a safe and just society. My UX work focused on creating an updated software product that educates and guides hospital pharmacy managers in the safe operation of clean room facilities for compounding medications.

Direct supply Inc
Direct Supply is the industry’s leading provider of furnishings, equipment, eCommerce and Service solutions for assisted living and skilled nursing environments. My time there was split between the “TELS” building health platform and their eCommerce tools.

My task at Direct Supply was to research and design experiences for the needs of: maintenance, health and safety, and c-suite executives. I did all my own field research, created personas, journeys maps, workflows, wireframes, user stories, and prototypes for design evaluation and customer testing. I designed and wrote test scripts, administered testing, conducted post testing analysis, and wrote actionable test reports and made iterative designs within an Agile engineering environment.

GE Healthcare
The great thing about working for GEHC Global Design team was the breadth of projects that I had the opportunity to influence through design. I have worked on CT, MR, X-Ray, PET user interfaces, as well as ventilators, anesthesia workstations, patient monitors, defibrillators, hospital and small practice information systems.

As a UX Designer for GEHC, I was responsible for project planning, budgets, scheduling + conducting site research, the consolidation of findings, iterative UI design, testing scripts, low and high fidelity prototyping, and wrote detailed software requirement reports within Six Sigma and Agile engineering environments.

Marquette Electronics
An early innovator in patient monitoring and cardiology technology,
they created medical equipment and software for physician offices and hospitals around the world. My work focused on bedside and transport monitors, anesthesia systems, defibrillators, and cardiology stress testing and analysis systems.
